At the beginning of the 2020 pandemic London NHS Trust, Imperial College Healthcare needed a reliable digital partner to support their online communications during this critical period.

BeingOnline adopted the code base and CMS, and collaborated closely with the Imperial Digital team to ensure the website was stabilised as their primary communication channel. We configured a resilient Azure hosting environment that could withstand unprecedented levels of traffic and introduced messaging banners for the home page. Meanwhile, a business as usual approach was taken to the management of the website to ensure high levels of website hygiene for page speed, content findability and the evolution of the user interface.

A key element of the website journey has been accessibility compliance, and we continue to work closely with the Imperial team to deliver regular planned accessibility audits.
