If you used Google on Saturday, 31 January you probably came across an alarming problem - every site in the search results (supposedly!) could harm your computer!
Google displays this warning if they discover some Malware when indexing a website, telling the user that entering that site could cause malicious software on the site to harm your computer.
Not in this case, however - someone at one of the Google data-centres had made a mistake when editing the list of these dangerous sites and set every website to be displayed as suspect. You can read more about the ins-and-outs of the incident on the official Google blog.
Although the problem was corrected very quickly, it wasn't fast enough to escape the quick-wittedness of some web users - who managed to save the search results for "Google" for posterity, and make the claim that "Google harms your computer"!
All I can say is, it happens to the best of us - even the big boys..
