Ikoncity is a games portal primarily aimed at globally recognised 'ikons' from the world of pop and sport allowing their management team to easily create ikon specific microsites and deploy games for their fans to play and win unique prizes.
The brief
Ikoncity wanted to build the ultimate online fan destination where devotees could win unique icon-related prizes via a range of online games and loyalty programmes.
The result
Being developed a pre-eminent brand primarily targeted at the youth market. This globally significant project illustrated our depth of technology provision and e-marketing expertise.
We delivered the underlying technology to allow the client to easily content manage a vast repository of content, microsites and in particular multi-genre games deployment.
Launched in the US marketplace in Oct'05 major record labels could easily build and create multiple game play sequences for their 'ikons'. Highly sophisticated data-capture processes via avatars and e-marketing programmes via event triggered auto senders allow a small marketing resource to manage and market to a large user base.
Aligned with affiliate marketing programmes and ad-serving US based media houses, Ikoncity was a unique solution with the highest level of CMS and e-marketing techniques.
